Our Sacred Valley with Connection to Machu Picchu tour lets you explore incredible places across this beautiful valley, surrounded by mountains and the majestic Urubamba River. This journey includes visits to archaeological sites such as Chinchero, Maras Salt Mines, Moray, Ollantaytambo, and Machu Picchu.

Day 1
- Visit to Chinchero (Archaeological Site and Andean Textiles)
After a 1-hour drive, we will reach Chinchero, where you can see its ancient Inca agricultural terraces. We will also visit a textile center where you will learn about the process of making Andean textiles using traditional techniques and fibers from llama and alpaca. - Visit to the Moray Archaeological Site
Next, we will explore the circular agricultural terraces of Moray, which were used as an experimental center for acclimatization, domestication, and hybridization of plants in microclimates. - Visit to the Maras Salt Mines
We will then head to the Maras Salt Mines, which consists of nearly 300 shallow pools where one of the world’s best salts is extracted, known as the “white gold of the Incas.” - Lunch in Urubamba
At noon, our tour includes a buffet lunch in Urubamba. - Visit to the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site
We will then visit Ollantaytambo, an important religious, agricultural, and military center with vast structures like terraces and the Temple of the Sun. After the visit, the passenger will make their way to the train station for departure to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town).
Once in Aguas Calientes, our guide will coordinate with you for the Machu Picchu visit.
Day 2
In Aguas Calientes, our guide will meet you and guide you to the bus station to travel up to the wonder of Machu Picchu. You will have a 2-hour guided tour of the Inca citadel. After the tour, you will return to Aguas Calientes, where you will have time for lunch before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo and then a bus to Cusco.

Although a very high level of physical fitness is not required, it is advisable to be moderately fit, as the tour includes walking on uneven and steep terrain.
Yes, the tour to Machu Picchu includes entrance to the Inca citadel.
